La Piaggia Bed & Breakfast - Assisi

The host was accommodating, helping us settle in despite our early arrival and providing excellent advice on local attractions.

The uphill walk to the town can be quite strenuous, particularly in the summer heat.

the personnel was very friendly, and the host too. the a double room was cozy, included central heating, tv set, and tea and coffee making equipment. lovely views - we could see mountain. the vibe here was quiet.

Staff were very friendly and the hotel was great, it had perfect location close to old town. The room was reasonably large, had comfortable and included an electric kettle and glassware. Location: the property was near train station, and the cathedral. Also, the hotel was approx 10-15 minutes' walk from Via Portica😃

Charming retreat with fine views

La Piaggia is a beautiful haven with cute hosts. I enjoyed waking up to a good breakfast with homemade cakes while being surrounded by amazing countryside views, especially the basilica illuminated at night.

The peaceful atmosphere of this charming place made it a perfect base for exploring Assisi. I loved walking through the olive trees and the stunning views of the illuminated basilica at night. The owner was accommodating, carrying my luggage and ensuring I had breakfast even when I was a bit late. It’s a short stroll to the basilica, which was a highlight of my stay.

Amazing place! Room was super spacious with a fridge, kettle, and private bathroom. Loved the tv and the comfy bed. The breakfast was plentiful, and there were plenty of toiletries provided. Plenty of parking made it stress-free. The owners gave us awesome tips for nearby restaurants.

The proprietor was kind, helping with my luggage and ensuring I felt at home. The breakfast was hearty with lovely options.

The views from the hotel are fine in the morning light. the gravel road is not well marked for walking.

We had an amazing group vacation and enjoyed the large garden filled with olive trees. The breakfast was tasty and our host was super accommodating. We took beautiful walks through the nearby hills and explored the fine architecture. Parking was easy, and the early breakfast was a great touch for our planned hikes.

One of the rooms had issues with the air conditioning unit, a bit uncomfortable .

This was just a smart choice for a weekend stopover in Assisi with very good value for money. The host was helpful, going out of his way to settle us in early. Plan for the steep walk to town as it offers fine views.

My kids wished for more breakfast options like fruits and salami.
